Linda takes Bush to task (not without reason, mind), and CNN states that
President Bush took responsibility Wednesday for “wrong” intelligence that led to the war, but he said removing Saddam Hussein was still necessary.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying all along. Saddam was a threat and his ouster was long past due. The reasons are legion, and I won’t belabor them here.
As far as not trusting the US because of Bush: I don’t trust France, Germany or Russia as far as I can throw them, or most of the rest of the Useless Nations member countries, and I will be G-ddamned if I trust any Muslim theocracy for one minute.
Any country who chooses to base their entire opinion of us on one president (and not the other 42 and a 200 year track record of global philanthropy) can go straight to hell, as far as I’m concerned.
